I was asked to help out with a lesson on Sunday for the Young Women at church. The lesson was about motherhood and the teacher asked if I could share some feelings about the love I have for my child. Well I am pretty fond of Ruby so I said yes. It was both easy and hard to do. Easy because I could talk about my perfect little midge all day long every day (and I do). Hard because I basically cried the whole time trying to use words to explain a feeling of love that is completely overwhelming.
Through tears I talked about the crazy love that fills your heart to bursting when you become a mother and what a blessing it is to have a child.
I read a quote by President
Ezra Taft Benson saying,
“in the eternal perspective, children—not possessions,
not position, not prestige—are our greatest jewels.”
This quote means so much to me because Ruby is my everything. I'm so proud to be her mother, but more than anything, I'm grateful. It hits me every day and I think, how could I deserve this life? How am I worthy of such a gift? Motherhood is an amazing blessing and I am so thankful for my little kangaRoo.

We love the Blog and the updates to your family and especially Ruby. Keep it up. Love this Post. Grandma Love you.
