things that made me smile this week

-getting the most comfortable shirt on earth on sale for 80% off.

-listening to Roo giggle for a half hour straight because mom and dad are apparently hilarious.

-sitting in the rocking chair long after she's asleep so i can remember her weight in my arms. and her smell.

-making chocolate chip cookies for dessert. eating them for breakfast the next day.

-finally finding a place that carries my shampoo.

-watching her gobble up rice for dinner and smile after every bite like it's a special treat.

-sweet notes from friends.

-drives with the hubs. laughing and dreaming about the future.

-cheerios under the table.

-getting my first haircut in almost a year.

-i got on twitter. don't tell the hubs. he'll never let me live it down.*

-and Ruby's new levi's jeggings (on clearance!). just look at that adorable little tush! 

*for the record, my sister coerced me in to getting on the twitter. she also talked me in to getting a pinterest account (with which i am obsessed) and this blog (which i completely neglect for hours at a time). she is a bad influence.
