-almost getting in to 2 accidents- one person running a red light, another driving through a stop sign. is it annoying to hear about all my near-death, utah driving issues? well it happens a lot. i find myself pulling off the freeway early a lot of the time, just to avoid being killed.
-the way Ruby has started tearing holes in the feet of all of her pajamas.
-trying to drive a busted car in 100 degree weather with no air conditioner. showing up drenched in sweat wherever i go. hoping i don't end up stranded on the side of the road while i melt into a puddle.

-taking Ruby to one of those huge trampoline arenas. she didn't love the trampolines (unless i was holding her) but she could've spent the entire day playing with the foam pit pieces. maybe next time she'll jump on the trampolines by herself.
-taking Tyler to the trampoline arena. he was suddenly a 10 year-old kid ...in a candy store.
-matching outfits with my Roo on sunday. whatever. i embrace the cheesiness.
-those rare moments when bubs sits quietly in her carseat reading a book. she usually hates her carseat with a fiery passion, so any car ride without screaming is like heaven to me. oh blessed silence!
-finally seeing my hairstylist after way too long. yes, i know.
-watching Ruby experience new things. ex: i gave her some jamba juice the other day and her face lit up like a christmas tree.
-painting my baby girl's toenails for the very first time. i can't help but smile every time i see those little pink piggies.
-visiting with my brother's sweet family (they came all the way from california for a visit)
-the giant chocolate cake on the counter, left-over from my sister-in-law's birthday party. i may have had it for breakfast... and lunch... the last 3 days.
