-my moody, clumsy babe. i don't know what's going on, but Ruby has been running in to, falling off of, and tripping over everything and she's been so grumpy all week. maybe it's a growth spurt?
-sunday when Roo was running through the bathroom, tripped and fell face-first into the side of the toilet. her tooth went through her lip and the whole right side of her face was bruised and swollen. the poor thing. it was awful. i just sat there, holding a wailing child with a wet washcloth in her mouth, thinking what just happened? ...and then we had to go to church with her looking like post-fight rocky
-getting a nasty cold. can i just say, i don't think it's right or fair that a mommy is allowed to get sick

-taking photos of baby Pearl for her birth announcements. if i could take photos of sweet, sleepy babies everyday i'd be happy as a clam
-my husband nursing me back to health
-making valentines with Ruby. she is quite the little artist
-discovering nyquil
-starting the plans for Ruby's birthday party. the ideas are just beginning to come together, but it's still exciting! i can't believe my baby is going to be 2 in less than a month!
