potty training

the babe is officially potty trained! 

we made this video while we were in the middle of potty training (i was going a little stir crazy).
a few things first:
1. i think i may be getting worse at editing videos for length. this one's pret-ty long, but holy cow my kid is cute.
2. we're using boy undies because the girl ones don't work for Roo yet (mostly because they don't make them in a small enough size. also they fall down, they're really thin, and they tend to sit comfortably right between little miss Roo's cheeks). i've ordered some in plain white so hopefully she can at least wear them under dresses and such without cookie monster peeking out underneath.
3. the look on her face when she says "i'm not a baby anymore!" (0:50) kind of kills me dead every time. pure pride.


i waited a little longer than i would've liked to potty train her. mostly because i got pregnant and sick and couldn't do it until now.
i'm not going to lie, potty training is rough. but it's so worth it. i'm so proud of my sweet girl. she's grown up so much and it makes me so happy to see the pride on her face.

hooray for underpants!
