thanksgiving point does a yearly tulip festival and we decided to go this year and see what all the fuss was about. well the fuss was about acres and acres of the most beautiful gardens filled with hundreds of thousands of tulips (and other flowers) as far as the eye could see. tulips are one of my favorite flowers so i was in heaven.
as far as photo backdrops go, thousands of beautiful, blooming flowers is a pretty good option. with this in mind i dressed up the girls and set off to get a few good easter photos with the two of them. i only had to take a few hundred before i got a handful of keepers… oof.
this face is killing me right now. i think she might've been meowing like a cat?
these two have my whole heart.
the tulip festival only lasts 2 weeks while the flowers are in bloom. i'm so glad we were able to go and enjoy it and i'm sure we'll be back next year.
