Story Time

It's been really tough to get Ruby to enjoy story time. In the beginning she didn't have the patience to listen to the story or even look at the pictures which kind of broke my heart. I had this idea that she would love to sit patiently on my lap while I read her Little Women or Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.  Yes, I realize how delusional that is. All I knew was MY child WILL read! We kept trying and trying and she's finally started to come around. She still sometimes prefers to chew on the books rather than look at them, but we've made serious progress. If I catch her in a good mood she'll sit happily on my lap and listen to story after story. She makes me so proud! Hooray for our little bookworm!
