Ruby is quite the little book lover. she gets so excited to flip through all the pages and look at the pictures. she's still impatient with the long stories, but will sit happily studying the photos in her picture books for longer stretches of time. it's so gratifying to see her recognize and respond to different photos (kissing the baby on the page, quacking at the duck, identifying objects that she knows, etc.). she makes her mama so proud.
she sometimes stands on top of her books while she "reads". it may not be the most effective method, but it's pretty dang cute.
