this week

downs:
-Ruby's 3:00 am internal alarm. it's like clockwork. she's up at 3:00 every morning, ready to play. kill me.
-utah driving. it's scary.
-Ruby the dog-bully. Dawnica has a little dog named Zorro that Ruby likes to pick on. she is always the littlest no matter what, so i think she's excited to have someone smaller to push around. we're talking hitting, kicking, poking, yanking on his collar, sitting on him, and she's even tried pushing him down the stairs a couple times. it's a problem.
-finding a spider the size of my face (only a slight exaggeration) in the bathroom, then trying to chase him down, and losing him somewhere in the house. i can feel his beady little eyes on me and i get itchy just thinking about it.
-Ruby's bottom, left molar.

ups:
-Ruby eating like a little champ. it happened all of  a sudden and i'm so happy. i'm still afraid i'm going to jinx it, but i can't hold in my excitement.
-pool parties with friends. granted, the pool is about 4 feet wide and inflatable, but it still counts.
-winning bets with the hubs. fyi: if i bet you a new pair of shoes i can fit in that tiny space, you better believe i'm going to make it happen.
-s'mores. come to think of it, i think i've averaged at least one s'more per day for the last week. proud moment.
-the look on my baby's face when she sees bunny from across the room.
-Ruby learning to say "wow" and "woah". i'm smitten.
