i wish i had gotten this on video. Ruby slides down the stairs on her belly every day. on christmas morning she went from the top of the stairs to the bottom in about 2 seconds.
Ruby's favorite present this year is probably a toss-up between her new books and the toy animals she got in her stocking. santa (Nana and Papa) was very good to us this year.
we took the rest of the day off to relax, cook, and visit friends and family.
having Nana and Papa in town with us made christmas really special. Ruby was in heaven the whole time they were here, and she hasn't stopped talking about them since they left. we always wish they could stay longer.
i don't think we could've asked for a better christmas!
