dear Ruby,

i am currently in love with:

how when someone asks how old you are, you hold up one finger and say "two" (it's safe to say you're somewhere in-between)

the look of concentration on your face when you try to eat with a spoon

your wild baby-mullet. i'm sure i should be getting that party-in-the-back chopped off, but i can't bear to lose any of those silky baby hairs. 

how you carry your little red bucket around the backyard collecting little bits of nature

you're dance moves. specifically- the "maniac", "tip-toes", the "counting horse", and that one where you wave your hands around like you're at a rave

when you take my face in both of your tiny hands and lay your forehead against mine

i love every little bit of you.
