-bedtime boot camp. it's painful.
-Ruby walking with a limp for 4 days. taking her to the doctor on day 4 only to have the limp disappear... awkward.
-that time we went to the store with Ruby and she screamed "ELMY!!!" (elmo) over and over at the top of her lungs for half an hour after seeing a sesame street toy in the next aisle. we're those people now
-when Ruby hit me in the teeth with the laptop.
-that time Ruby got the biggest bump she's ever had on her head. she ran in to a doorframe.
ups:
-Ruby sleeping through the night for the first time in ...ever.
-getting a $50 pair of shoes for $3.
-the kid who gave a talk in church on sunday and said that he and his fellow young men would be "bros for life". because it was so cheesy and sweet. and now i look at everyone as somebody's baby. does that make sense?
-barbecues with friends. eating and laughing until you have a stomach ache
-scooter rides on cool nights
-the way Ruby has to give her stuffed animals/babies a kiss every time she picks them up.
-Roo's newfound love of dress-up. she puts on mommy's clothes, shoes, and jewelry whenever she can get her hands on them.
