funk busting

i've been feeling especially grateful for my life today. do you ever feel like you're stuck in a funk (starting after new year's) that seems to last forever (until spring)? well i think i'm finally coming out of my funk and i would like to thank the following:

dear 70 degree weather,

i love you with a burning passion. you have melted the thick layer of ice that has been covering my heart since january. my family is also benefitting from the improvement you've made to my mood, so they thank you as well.

dear baby girl,

thank you for becoming more and more fantastic every day. your squeals and expressions are hilarious and i can't not laugh and smile when i'm with you. also, those eyes leave me speechless. 

dear hubs,

thank you for constantly helping me with the bub, cleaning, and finding excuses for me to get out of the house. you've kept me from countless psychotic breakdowns. plus you're easy on the eyes.

dear "gakaka",

thank you for patiently listening to me complain about cabin fever for months. also, thank you for always knowing when i can't handle the truth... which is most of the time.

dear chocolate,

thank you for letting me devour you mercilessly for the past few months. don't ever change.
