we were lucky enough to spend memorial day on the lake with some great friends. they invited us to go out on their boat yesterday and we jumped at the chance.
Ashley took this picture of Lily and Ruby patiently waiting to unload the boat. they are so cute together.
this face says it all. she hated that life jacket and putting on sunscreen is pure torture to her. there were some serious tantrums, but you gotta do what you gotta do. the funny part was that after all was said and done, i forgot to put sunscreen on myself. i'm paying for that mistake now with a nasty little sunburn.
she calmed down a bit when we started giving her doritos. it was so funny. by the end of the trip both of the girls were covered in orange dorito dust. i'm not a fan of junk food, but i think it's the least i could do for torturing her with that life jacket.
Lily passed out halfway through the trip and took her nap on the boat floor. the poor thing was so tired, nothing could wake her up.
Colby, Ashley, and Tyler all went out on the banana tube and had a blast. i really wanted a picture, but i just don't have enough hands to hold the babies, man the flag, and take photos. maybe next time.
we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. we all had a really great time.
