it's finally happening! we're slowly packing up the house and getting ready to move back to utah. i had been meaning to take pictures of Ruby's room for a while, but i never got around to it. well today it was suddenly time to pack it all up (there's no better motivation than a deadline, right?) so i snapped a couple photos of the room right before i threw all of it in boxes. these aren't the greatest pictures, but at least now i have something to remember her little space.
i originally made that banner above Ruby's changing table for my sister's wedding. i just repurposed it to fit in bub's room.
my sister made the coolest little tulle poof garland for my baby shower, and i reused the poofs for Roo's mobile. i have art set aside for a gallery wall, but i never got around to buying frames. besides, i knew if i bought anything here i would only have to pack it home, so the walls stayed pretty bare.
my sister-in-law and her husband sewed Ruby this beautiful quilt before she was born. it makes me smile every time i look at it. plus the little bunnies are kind of perfect for our little lady.
my sister also made that adorable doll for Ruby. there's a lot of love that went in to the little details of this room.
i have hopes to change out the knobs of this dresser, but i think the original pulls are fine for now.
these booties melt my heart every time i see them. i think i might see a little collection beginning to form.
this room has seen us through some really good memories, and we can't wait for the next adventure.
