my sister threw a baby shower at the farm for her sweet siter-in-law, Kara over the weekend. after all the sun we've had, somehow we ended up with rain on the day there was supposed to be an outdoor party. bummer how that happens, but it was still a great time.
after the party was over and people started heading home the sky cleared up a bit and we were able to take some photos. it was a little muggy and the tall grass was wet and soaking our clothes, but this little patch of daisies added all the sunshine we needed. plus there really isn't anything that compares to the smell of wildflowers and rain.
oh, that's true, i also love that smell of the grass after a summer rain.
