last week in polaroids

for our seven year anniversary Tyler surprised me with an instax camera and some film. i had two polaroids growing up and this camera brings back good memories. anyway i've been tinkering around with it and having so much fun. on the one hand, it's so satisfying to get that print right away and see all the great colors that you can only get through instant film. on the other hand, these cameras are kind of tricky to get used to. what you see is not what you get all of the time. framing the shot and getting your lighting right is tough! and it's pretty frustrating to wreck photos when the film is so pricey... but oh man i'm loving figuring this whole thing out. i've already gone through two packs of film and i'm on pins and needles waiting for my next order of film to come in the mail.

anyway here are a few photos i took over the last week. they are far from perfect but i'm already hooked and i can't wait to take more (hopefully i'll have a little more success with the next batch!)
