Tyler got off work early the other day so we decided to brave the heat and take our little family to the park. when it comes to parks, we tend to get around. we're always trying out a new one hoping we'll like this one a little bit more, or maybe that one will be less crowded. we're always going to a new park and we rarely visit the same one twice in a row. so as usual, this one was a new park for us. it was nice and deserted, just the way we like our parks (our kid tends to get bullied) although that might've been because it was over 100 degrees out and we were the only ones crazy enough to be outside. as an added bonus there was a lake just a short walk away full of "gucks" for Ruby. score!
as usual Ruby got ridiculously excited about the ducks and tried to chase them all down to "ride them" or "give the guck a hug." she was very disappointed by their lack of affection, but can you blame them when we didn't even bring them bread? rude.
we all left pink-cheeked and sweaty, but i'd say it was a good trip.
